so it's been like nearly 2 months since I've last typed anything up.

Not much to say I guess.

Actually have just started a new job and getting my head round that is well doing my head in.

I'm now the REACH therapy facillitator. I implement the programs that the O.T's/speechy's or child psychologist's write up , but due to living in the outback they are unable to do it themselves.

Aidan is one of my clients hahaha. That's fun. I'm enjoying it though, just a shock to the old bod about getting up dressed and happy game face on with the kids in the morning. Am struggling to work out how I had Gabby at kindy at 7am and me at work by 7:30am when we lived in Sydney.

Anyway life at the moment is good and everyone seems happy and healthy.

Have decided to steal a friends idea.....look out for new pics soon

So we bought a new lounge. Mike and the kids broke the old one and it was old and stinky as well.
It quite dominates the lounge room now but it's very comfy so I guess thats the main thing.
There is already a mark on it but shhh don't tell Brown Boy.....

So begins the school year...

Gabriella has started year 2 and Aidan has started preschool. He was a bit confused at first, thinking that he was going to Gabby's school, but when we arrived at preschool, he dumped me and took off heading straight to the bikes. He came home that afternoon with a million painting's and babbling a million miles a minute about his day.
Gabby's teacher is Mr Richerson and from all accounts he takes NO crap so that is a good thing. She is not happy about going back but what can you do. I now have Friday's free and cna not believe the freedom that brings with it. I don't think I've ever had a free day to do as I please.....

So how are times changing.

I found this photo of Michael with Aidan and Owen. It's funny how grandparents say that time goes in the blink of an eye, and they start looking back at their lives, but you know what just looking at this photo makes me sad for times that I'll never see again or things I should have done better.

I look at Aidan in this pic and think "man I was smoking then " What was I thinking. But in my own head I justifying everything. But I think that's what most people do don't they. Life does go past so fast.

I think it feels like it goes quicker when you have children as you have a time stick as such. So as each year goes past you get to say gosh haven't they grown. things change, people move and the world keeps turning.

The last few months for us has seen a lots of friends and work mates move on to bigger and better things. So I guess it's got me thinking about what is best for the Brown's and how do I shield my kids form the heartbreak that is life in mining. Our street that we live in has gone from having about 15 kids under the age fo 10 to 3.

The latest to move away is Gabby's friends Arki. Those two have been friends since preschool, and even though Gabby understands that a lot of her friends have gone it's manifesting in other ways. She has sudden attacks of not feeling well after each child has departed.

So what do i do? Do I constantly worry and not let her or ourselves for that matter be friends with people that will leave us or do I tell her that this is life and let the good times roll.

I guess we all leave eventually....
